Futuro perfecto y futuro perfecto continuo
A. Futuro perfecto — will have + participio pasado
| Sujeto | will have + p.p. | Ejemplos |
|---|---|---|
| I | will have + p.p. | I will have finished by 5. |
| you | will have + p.p. | You will have arrived by then. |
| he / she / it | will have + p.p. | She will have left by noon. |
| we | will have + p.p. | We will have eaten by 7. |
| they | will have + p.p. | They will have gone by Monday. |
- I will have written three emails by lunch.
- By next month, he will have saved enough money.
- The workers will have completed the bridge by December.
B. Futuro perfecto continuo — will have been + verbo-ing
| Tiempo | Forma | Foco |
|---|---|---|
| futuro perfecto | will have + p.p. | lo acabado para ese momento futuro |
| futuro perfecto continuo | will have been + -ing | el tiempo transcurrido hasta ese momento |
- Next year, I will have been teaching English for ten years.
- By 6 p.m., she will have been studying for six hours straight.
- When you arrive, we will have been driving all day. (Cuando llegues, llevaremos todo el día conduciendo.)
- By the end of the month, they will have been dating for two years.
C. Expresiones con by + momento futuro
|---|---|---|
| by tomorrow | para mañana | I will have finished it by tomorrow. |
| by next year | para el año que viene | We will have moved by next year. |
| by the time ~ | para cuando ~ | By the time you come, dinner will have been ready. |
| in five years | dentro de cinco años | In five years, she will have been working here for ten years. |
- By next Friday, I will have submitted the application.
- By the time the concert starts, they will have been standing in line for hours.
- By 2030, we will have built three new stations. (Para 2030 habremos construido tres estaciones nuevas.)
- By the end of this year, she will have been studying Korean for two years.
Ideas clave
- 1El futuro perfecto se forma con will have + participio pasado y el futuro perfecto continuo con will have been + verbo-ing, y en los dos tiempos la forma se mantiene igual sea cual sea el sujeto: ese es el núcleo de la forma. (Ej.: She will have finished, They will have been working.)
(Ej.: will have written three emails / will have been writing for two hours.)
(Ej.: By next year, I will have graduated.)
- 4Los verbos de estado (know, love, have, etc.) no admiten la forma continua, así que se expresan en futuro perfecto y no en futuro perfecto continuo: respeta esa regla. (Ej.: I will have known him for 10 years.)
