O futuro perfeito e o futuro perfeito contínuo

O futuro perfeito (will have + p.p.) indica a conclusão até um momento determinado do futuro, e o futuro perfeito contínuo (will have been + verbo-ing) indica a duração até esse momento.

Explicação

O futuro perfeito (will have + p.p.) indica a conclusão até um momento determinado do futuro, e o futuro perfeito contínuo (will have been + verbo-ing) indica a duração até esse momento.

A.  Futuro perfeito — will have + particípio passado

Decore inteira a fórmula will have + p.p. = concluído até o momento futuro.

Sujeitowill have + p.p.Exemplo
Iwill have + p.p.I will have finished by 5.
youwill have + p.p.You will have arrived by then.
he / she / itwill have + p.p.She will have left by noon.
wewill have + p.p.We will have eaten by 7.
theywill have + p.p.They will have gone by Monday.
  • I will have written three emails by lunch.
  • By next month, he will have saved enough money.
  • The workers will have completed the bridge by December.

B.  Futuro perfeito contínuo — will have been + verbo-ing

TempoFormaFoco
Futuro perfeitowill have + p.p.a conclusão até o momento futuro
Futuro perfeito contínuowill have been + -ingo tempo de duração até o momento futuro
  • Next year, I will have been teaching English for ten years.
  • By 6 p.m., she will have been studying for six hours straight.
  • When you arrive, we will have been driving all day. (Quando você chegar, nós estaremos dirigindo o dia inteiro.)
  • By the end of the month, they will have been dating for two years.

C.  Expressões com by + momento futuro

O futuro perfeito e o futuro perfeito contínuo formam par com by + momento futuro (by tomorrow, by next year, by the time ~) e deixam claro até que ponto vale a conclusão ou a duração.

by tomorrowaté amanhãI will have finished it by tomorrow.
by next yearaté o ano que vemWe will have moved by next year.
by the time ~quando ~, por volta deBy the time you come, dinner will have been ready.
in five yearsdaqui a cinco anosIn five years, she will have been working here for ten years.
  • By next Friday, I will have submitted the application.
  • By the time the concert starts, they will have been standing in line for hours.
  • By 2030, we will have built three new stations. (Até 2030 nós teremos construído três estações novas.)
  • By the end of this year, she will have been studying Korean for two years.

Pontos principais

  1. 1O futuro perfeito tem a forma will have + particípio passado e o futuro perfeito contínuo, will have been + verbo-ing, e nos dois a forma não muda com o sujeito: esse é o ponto central. (Ex.: She will have finished, They will have been working.)
(Ex.: will have written three emails / will have been writing for two hours.)
(Ex.: By next year, I will have graduated.)
  4. 4Verbos de estado (know·love·have e outros) não admitem o contínuo, então se exprimem no futuro perfeito, e não no futuro perfeito contínuo: siga essa regra. (Ex.: I will have known him for 10 years.)
