Il futuro perfetto e il futuro perfetto continuo
Il futuro perfetto (will have + p.p.) indica il compimento entro un momento futuro preciso, il futuro perfetto continuo (will have been + verbo-ing) indica la durata fino a quel momento.
Spiegazione
Il futuro perfetto (will have + p.p.) indica il compimento entro un momento futuro preciso, il futuro perfetto continuo (will have been + verbo-ing) indica la durata fino a quel momento. Entrambi i tempi si accompagnano all'espressione by + momento futuro.
A. Futuro perfetto — will have + participio passato
Il futuro perfetto si forma mettendo dopo will have il participio passato del verbo e indica che entro un momento futuro preciso qualcosa è già concluso. Impara come blocco unico la formula will have + p.p. = compiuto entro quel momento.
| Soggetto | will have + p.p. | Esempio |
|---|---|---|
| I | will have + p.p. | I will have finished by 5. |
| you | will have + p.p. | You will have arrived by then. |
| he / she / it | will have + p.p. | She will have left by noon. |
| we | will have + p.p. | We will have eaten by 7. |
| they | will have + p.p. | They will have gone by Monday. |
- I will have written three emails by lunch. (Entro l'ora di pranzo avrò scritto tre email.)
- By next month, he will have saved enough money.
- The workers will have completed the bridge by December.
B. Futuro perfetto continuo — will have been + verbo-ing
| Tempo | Forma | Fuoco |
|---|---|---|
| Futuro perfetto | will have + p.p. | compimento entro il momento futuro |
| Futuro perfetto continuo | will have been + -ing | durata fino al momento futuro |
- Next year, I will have been teaching English for ten years. (L'anno prossimo saranno dieci anni che insegno inglese.)
- By 6 p.m., she will have been studying for six hours straight.
- When you arrive, we will have been driving all day.
- By the end of the month, they will have been dating for two years.
C. L'espressione by + momento futuro
Il futuro perfetto e il futuro perfetto continuo si accompagnano a by + momento futuro (by tomorrow, by next year, by the time ~) e chiariscono così entro quale momento si colloca il compimento o la durata. Senza by il momento di riferimento resta vago, perciò compaiono spesso insieme.
| Espressione | Significato | Esempio |
|---|---|---|
| by tomorrow | entro domani | I will have finished it by tomorrow. |
| by next year | entro l'anno prossimo | We will have moved by next year. |
| by the time ~ | quando ormai ~ | By the time you come, dinner will have been ready. |
| in five years | fra cinque anni | In five years, she will have been working here for ten years. |
- By next Friday, I will have submitted the application. (Entro venerdì prossimo avrò presentato la domanda.)
- By the time the concert starts, they will have been standing in line for hours.
- By 2030, we will have built three new stations. (Entro il 2030 avremo costruito tre nuove stazioni.)
- By the end of this year, she will have been studying Korean for two years.
Punti chiave
- 1Il futuro perfetto ha la forma will have + participio passato e il futuro perfetto continuo will have been + verbo-ing, e in entrambi i tempi la forma resta identica a prescindere dal soggetto: è il punto centrale della forma. (esempio: She will have finished, They will have been working.)
(esempio: will have written three emails / will have been writing for two hours.)
(esempio: By next year, I will have graduated.)
(esempio: I will have known him for 10 years.)
