未來式 (will)
未來式的 will 不管主詞是誰，都是「will + 原形動詞」的形式，表示對未來要發生的事所做的臨時決定、意志和預測。在第三人稱單數後面也不會變成 wills，就是 will。

A. 形式 — will + 原形動詞
will 是助動詞，所以不管主詞是誰形式都固定，後面一定要接原形動詞。公式統一成 will + 原形動詞 這一個。

B. 用法 — 臨時決定、意志、預測
will 用在說話當下臨時決定的事、要做某事的意志和承諾，以及根據判斷或想法所做的未來預測。已經定好的計畫用 be going to 更自然。

- Kevin will turn 25 this summer. (Kevin 今年夏天就滿二十五歲了。)
C. 縮寫 — 'll
在會話中把 will 和主詞連在一起縮寫成 'll 自然得多，而且所有人稱都一樣這樣接。尤其在說臨時決定的事情時，大部分都用縮寫。

重點整理
- 1will 是助動詞，所以不管主詞是誰形式都不變，後面一定要接原形動詞，這是和一般動詞最大的差別。(例: She will go. — She wills go. 是錯的)
- 2說話當下臨時決定的事用 will，事先安排好的計畫用 be going to 更自然，請培養這種語感。(例: The phone's ringing. I'll get it.)
- 3在會話中幾乎都用 'll 縮寫，而且所有人稱都一樣，請記住這個慣用法。(例: I'll / he'll / they'll)
- 4中文的「會~」「要~」「我來~」都可以用 will 來表達，知道這一點就能依情境自然地使用。
- 5will 後面絕對不能加 to，請遵守這個規則。(例: I will call you. — I will to call you. 是錯的)
