They call him Ken.
She named her cat Luna.
elect〜を… They elected her mayor.
make〜を…にするThe board made him CEO.
They appointed her director.
  • My friends call me Andy.
  • We named our son Lucas.
  • The party elected him leader.
  • They consider Anna a genius.

Keep the room clean.
make〜を… Music makes me calm.
I found the book interesting.
Don't leave the door open.
They consider him reliable.
  • The coffee kept me awake all night.
  • The exam made her nervous.
  • We found the hotel comfortable.
  • Please leave me alone for a while.

makemake him president (大統領に)make him happy (幸せに)
considerconsider her a friend (友達として)consider her kind (親切だと)
findfind him a good teacher (良い先生だと)find him interesting (面白いと)
  • They made him captain of the team.
  • The gift made her happy.
  • I consider him my best friend.
  • I consider him trustworthy.

They elected him president. → him = president)
(例: made me happy.)
(例: make him president / make him happy)
(例: They elected her mayor.)
