不定代名詞 (one / ones / it)
one 和 ones 指的是和前面提過的東西「同一種類的另一個」，it 則是精確地再指一次前面提過的「就是那一個」。對象是否特定，就是兩者的決定性差異。

A. one — 同種類中的一個 (單數)
one 是指前面提過的名詞所屬同一種類中、可數的其中一個的不定代名詞，是為了不重複同一個名詞而用的替代說法。用one = a/an + 同種類的名詞 這種語感去理解就很容易。

B. ones — 同種類中的多個 (複數)
ones 是 one 的複數形，指可數的好幾個，而且一定要和形容詞、this/these 這類修飾語一起出現。不會像 They are ones. 那樣單獨使用，前後一定會有說明是哪些東西的表達。

- These socks are worn out. I'll buy new ones. (這雙襪子已經穿破了。我要買新的。)

- I like these apples better than those ones. (比起那些蘋果，我更喜歡這些蘋果。)
- Don't buy the cheap ones. (不要買便宜的那些。)
C. it — 已經提過的就是那一個
it 是再指一次前面提過的那個特定東西的指示代名詞，和表示「同種類的另一個」的 one 角色完全不同。要把前面說過的東西明確地再提一次時就用 it。

重點整理
- 1one 是「同種類中隨便哪一個」，it 是「前面說過的就是那一個」，對象是否特定就是兩者的決定性差異。(例: I need a pen. I need one. / I lost my pen. I can't find it.)
- 2ones 一定要和形容詞、this/these/that/those、the 這類修飾語一起出現，不會單獨使用。(例: the red ones, these ones)
- 3one 和 ones 只用在可數名詞，不可數名詞(water, money, advice)不能用。(例: I need some advice. — I need one advice. 是錯的)
- 4在對話中被問到「你要哪一個？」的時候，就用 The blue one. / The red ones. 這種形容詞 + one/ones 的方式簡短回答。
- 5it 的複數是 they/them，不是 ones。(例: I bought these shoes. I love them.)
