A. 比較級 + and + 比較級 — 越來越 ~
這是把短形容詞·副詞的比較級重複兩次再用 and 連起來的形式，表示隨著時間推移的漸進變化。大多和 get·become·grow 這類表示狀態變化的動詞一起使用，比較級 + and + 比較級 = 越來越 ~ 就是本單元的核心公式。

B. more + 原級 + and + more + 原級 — 長形容詞的情況
像三音節以上的長形容詞那樣，用 more 構成比較級的單字要寫成 more and more + 原級的形式。原級只出現一次，用 and 連起來的是 more 和 more，這就是這個形式的重點。
