第5文型 — to 不定詞の目的格補語
want・ask・tell・advise・allow・expect・order・force 系の動詞は、目的語のあとに to 不定詞 を置いて「目的語に…するようにさせる・頼む・期待する」という第5文型を作ります。

A. to 不定詞の目的格補語を取る動詞たち
want・expect・ask・tell・order・allow・advise・encourage・remind・persuade・warn・force・enable 系の動詞は、目的語のあとに必ず to 不定詞を置いて第5文型を完成させます。動詞 + O + to 不定詞 の公式をまるごと覚えます。

B. 語順 — 動詞 + 目的語 + to 不定詞
この型の第5文型は必ず「動詞 + 目的語(誰に) + to 不定詞(何をすること)」の語順で書きます。目的語を抜かしたり語順を変えたりする間違いがよく出ます。

C. 使役・知覚動詞との対比 — 原形 vs to 不定詞
使役動詞(have・let・make)と知覚動詞(see・hear・feel)は to のない原形不定詞、want・ask・tell 系は to 不定詞とはっきり分かれます。

- 1want・ask・tell・advise・allow・expect・order・force・encourage・remind のあとには必ず目的語 + to 不定詞が来るという公式が核心です。(例: I want you to come.)
- 2使役動詞 make・have・let のあとには原形不定詞、want・tell・ask のあとには to 不定詞ではっきり区別されるというペアを一緒に覚えます。(例: made me laugh / told me to laugh)
- 3want のあとには that 節ではなく to 不定詞が来るという規則が日本語話者にとってよくある間違いポイントです。(例: I want you to come.)
- 4tell・ask・advise は that 節と to 不定詞のどちらも可能ですが、文のトーンが変わるという感覚を身につけておきます。(例: He told me to leave / He told me that I should leave.)
