Relativos - pronome relativo what

O pronome relativo what já traz o antecedente dentro de si, valendo o mesmo que the thing(s) which/that, e entra como um substantivo nas posições de sujeito, objeto e predicativo.

Explicação

O pronome relativo what já traz o antecedente dentro de si, valendo o mesmo que the thing(s) which/that, e entra como um substantivo nas posições de sujeito, objeto e predicativo. A diferença decisiva em relação a that e which é que ele não precisa de antecedente antes.

A.  what = the thing(s) which/that — com antecedente

what carrega o antecedente dentro de si, por isso não se escreve antes dele nenhum substantivo de coisa, e ele sempre equivale a the thing(s) which/that. Guarde em bloco a fórmula what = antecedente + pronome relativo.
