A. 強調比較級的副詞 — much, far, a lot, still, even, way
在比較級前面加上 much / far / a lot / still / even / way，「~得多」這個意思就會被強化。請把 much / far / a lot / still / even + 比較級 當成一套記起來。way 在口語中常用來表示「~得多」。

B. very 不能強調比較級
very 只能強調原級(形容詞·副詞原本的形態)，不能放在比較級(-er / more ~)前面。這是很容易犯的錯誤，不過只要記住 very + 原級 / much + 比較級 這組搭配就能解決。

- Today is very cold. → Today is a lot colder than yesterday. (今天比昨天冷得多。)
C. even / still + 比較級 — 「甚至更 / 更進一步」
even 帶有「甚至比那個還要更」，still 帶有「明明已經那樣了還要更進一步」的語感，用來強調比較級。要表達程度超過前面提到的對象時特別常用。
